PRACTICAL WORKFLOW / AGENCY OS
Check three things before a client project starts.
For independent service providers and small creative agencies.
Check the agreed deposit
Fictional example: a $1,000 project with a 50% deposit calls for $500. If $200 has settled, $300 of that deposit remains. Check the payment status against the agreement rather than assuming the full project is ready.
Confirm scope in writing
List the agreed outputs, revision allowance, responsibilities and exclusions. Make uncertain items explicit before scheduling work.
Confirm client assets
List the files, access and decisions needed to start. Record what is missing and who will provide it. Do not put passwords into project notes.
Prepare the kickoff brief
Bring those three checks into one brief, add the next action and review it before sharing. Recheck the source facts and regenerate the brief whenever project details change.
Try the workflow with a fictional example.
Agency OS organizes these checks and drafts. It is an offline working kit, not a shared client portal or an automatic payment system.
