InvoiceForge provides browser-based tools and digital products. We aim to collect and retain as little information as practical.

Information you enter

Invoice details entered into the invoice builder are processed in your browser to generate the preview and print/save workflow. The payment follow-up tool stores the client name, invoice number, amount, currency, due date, status, sender name and optional context in your browser's local storage on that device. This follow-up data is not sent to our server by that tool. Anyone with access to your browser profile may be able to view it, and clearing browser data may delete it. Export a backup if you need to keep it. Do not enter sensitive personal or payment-card information. We do not need an account for these basic tools.

Payments

Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number or PayPal password. PayPal may process information according to its own privacy policy and security practices.

QR generation

When you use the QR Generator, the text or URL you enter is sent to the QR-code image service used by the site to generate the image. Do not submit confidential information to the QR Generator.

Hosting and technical data

The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most web services, hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, request timestamps, and error information for delivery, security, and reliability.

Digital purchases

For a successful purchase, our server receives the PayPal order and capture information needed to verify payment and provide the purchased digital content. Signed purchase links may contain a product identifier and expiration information.

External services

When you use the QR generator, the text or URL entered is sent to the external QR image service described above. PayPal and Netlify may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

This policy may be updated when the service, payment methods, hosting, or data practices change.
